For an international company operating in the industrial pump sector, part of a Japanese group with its European headquarters based in Germany, we are looking for a Sales Area Manager to oversee and grow the market in Northern and Central Italy.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the assigned territory, providing qualified technical and commercial consultancy, and supporting the development of the most suitable solutions for customers. The role includes activities both at the company’s site and frequent business travel to customer locations, industry trade shows, technical trainings, and update courses.
Specifically, the person will:
- manage relationships with existing clients and develop new ones, offering technical solutions tailored to market needs;
- prepare and customize technical-commercial proposals in collaboration with the internal team;
- independently organize the schedule of visits and meetings in the field;
- actively participate in trade fairs, training events, and international company initiatives;
- collaborate with both the Italian team (currently composed of at least three people) and international colleagues, using English as a working language.
The ideal candidate:
- Has a technical background (engineering degree or technical diploma);
- Has proven experience in technical-commercial roles, preferably in the pump sector or similar industries.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in the pump industry;
- Background in international environments.

- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, essential for interaction with the international group.
